It is really hard to find new SACD and DVD audio disks. Is this format dead, a victim of another format war?

More than being the victim of losing a format war itself, I think it has just been drowned out by other format wars.

It seems to me that SACD was just a way to stop people from copying cds, offering no improvement of quality... at least, none that I can tell.
